There are multiple routes to becoming a physiotherapist in the UK. You can undertake a 3 year undergraduate degree, a 2 years pre-masters degree (following an initial degree in a different subject), and there is a physiotherapy apprenticeship route also available
Professionals from outside the UK

International physiotherapists must apply and be accepted to the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) register before they are able to practice as physiotherapists in the UK.

Once you have successfully completed your training course, you will have to register with the state regulator, Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), in order to practise physiotherapy and to call yourself a physiotherapist. The HCPC will bar you from entering the profession if you have not passed your approved course.
