New professionals

Routes to qualification

The GCC approves chiropractic programmes offered by 5 education providers. Graduates are eligible to apply for GCC registration.

Professionals from outside the UK

Recognition for professionals outside the UK
All - there are routes to recognition for professionals from all countries
Summary of routes

Those who graduated from an overseas chiropractic programme not approved by the GCC may apply for registration by firstly taking and passing a Test of Competence. Once passed the chiropractor can apply for GCC registration.

Passing the Test of Competence shows that the chiropractor has met the same Education Standards as a chiropractor who qualified from a GCC approved programme.
