Domiciliary Care/ Home Care Manager- compulsory registration.
Domiciliary Care/ Home Care Manager- provides leadership ,direction and support for their team who deliver personal care and emotional support to people living in their own homes.
The manager ensures all care is delivered to a high standard. They recruit, train and supervise staff to ensure they deliver high quality care.
Domiciliary Care/ Home Care Managers must register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council on Part Two of the register. Managers must maintain their registration , pay an annual fee and undertake continuing professional development,(CPD)- 90 hours of of post registration training and learning must be undertaken in each registration period- every three years.
