Regulation
Regulation summary
Foster care provides a safe family environment for children who cannot, for lots of different reasons, live with their own families. Fostering is often used to provide temporary care while parents get help sorting out problems. Foster care can also support children or young people through difficult periods in their lives.
The fostering service manager will set the operational direction and organise the effective running of the service provision to meet the setting’s statement of purpose.
