Summary of routes

Candidates that have obtained a Law Degree outside of England and Wales may be entitled to exemption from the equivalent units on the Probate Law and Practice Diploma Level 4, provided the Degree is based on a jurisdiction derived from English common law, and then candidates are asked to PASS the Probate Law and Practice Diploma Level 6.

Registration requirements

In order to apply for a first qualifying CLC licence ALL dual and cross qualifying professionals must provide evidence of their past passed academic electives (probate) and may be required to complete and submit with their application a Statement of Practical Experience, for 1200 hours, signed and verified by an Authorised Person (with the appropriate practice rights), with a current and valid licence.
