Registration

Registration requirements

For those who wish to act as offshore medics and are reliant on their training for example as a nurse they must first be registered within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and secondly demonstrate they hold all the current competencies expected of a UK qualified Offshore medic. For others not linked to the NMC they will need to demonstrate they hold current competencies in all aspects of training that a UK qualified Offshore Medic is expected to hold and that this training has been delivered by a competent provider.
