Registration

Registration requirements

Hold a social work qualification - register on Part One of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council register.

Hold a qualification in Health and Social Care - register on Part Two of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council register.

For both registration must be maintained by paying an annual fee and undertaking continuing professional development - social work - 90 hours every three years, other qualifications - 90 hours every five years.
